No nudity on Instagram is a fault

Probably you have heard the celebs that Instagram removed pictures and sometimes even suspend accounts because they showed too much exposed body. It turns out that the blame for the restrictive policy of this social network on nudity is the concern Apple, because it is he who enforces it.

Instagram users are increasingly reluctant to adopt its restrictive nudity policy, which removes images of women from the portal, for example showing nude nipples. For this purpose, a #freethenipple hashtag campaign has been launched, which aims to encourage the portal to change this policy.

But it will not be that easy, and the target of the campaign should not be Instagram, but Apple, because it is this American giant is responsible for restrictive policy. This was explained by Instagram CEO Kevyn Systrom, who said that it was the result of Apple's age-restricted category, which distributes applications to Instagram. Head of the portal wants to stay in the 12+ age category to reach a wider audience in this way, while only the 17+ age category allows exposure of nakedness.

Systrom also complains about the unequal treatment of companies by Apple because Twitter accounts are full of pornography and although it is in the 4+ age category, a Cupertino company has not dug it out of the App Store.
